Judgment is the essence of effective leadership. It is a contextually informed decision making process encompassing three domains - people, strategy and crisis.

Within each domain, leadership judgments follow a three-phase process: Preparation, the Decision and Execution . Good judgment is anchored on the template of Emotional Intelligence. This enables Leaders to learn how to reflect and take ownership of their decision .

Mr. Nabendu Gupta B.Sc ( Hons ) , PGDM (IIMC), Executive director, co-founded NR Performance Edge Consultants pvt. Ltd in 2005. He works in the area of Leadership Development and Effective Execution.

Nabendu Gupta has 28 years of corporate experience in India and overseas, after his post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta. He has worked in Sales, Marketing and General Management with the Tatas, Unilever and Reckitt & Colman, where he was General Manager, Delhi. He has subsequently worked as Vice president (Marketing) Reliance Telecom, Senior Vice president (Consumer products), pidilite Industries & Chief Executive, Business Standard Ltd. He has attended Leadership and Advanced Management Development programs in the US/UK and Singapore.
