Course Description
Innovation is the lifeblood of every company - the fuel that keeps an organization going in a tough marketplace. But by its very nature, it's hard to plan for, quantify and coach.

In this 2-day workshop, you will be introduced to the processes and tools of corporate innovation through tried and tested applications. You will be guided to apply these processes and tools by identifying important customer needs, crystallizing value propositions and executing on your vision by setting up champions, teams and organizational alignment.

Faculty

T. A. Balasubramanian (named Tabby for life by well-meaning friends at IIT) is an engineering graduate from IIT, Madras and an alumnus of IIM, Calcutta. He has worked for over 15 years in the corporate sector (ASCI and HPCL, managing computer systems), before starting Maxigen Communications, a marcom consultancy service.

For the past two decades, Tabby has been engaged in the strategic and creative management aspects of communication across a range of business domains including IT, BPO, Technology, Hospitality, Engineering Consultancy and Retailing. He has conducted Open Public Programs since 2007 on 'Creativity and Innovation' as well as in-company training programs for leading global companies.

He is currently exploring new ideas in 'Systems Thinking', 'Content Marketing', 'Collaboration & Community Development', 'Virtual Worlds' and the 'Power of Visual Thinking'. He has written columns, serious and light, for magazines such as Business World, Computers Today and Express Computer.

Methodology

In our workshop, we maximize knowledge assimilation in the participants through combination of execution elements like case discussions, exercises, simulated games and activities, video led sessions and discussions on global best practices. At the end of each workshop we facilitate the participants to distill Key Learning and prepare Action Plans to deliver solid business results for our clients.
